Suburb Outside Dallas Gaining New Multifamily Complex
The city of Rockwall, TX is quickly becoming a highly sought-after location for singles and families alike. However, the city has been lacking when it comes to new multifamily complexes. SWBC Real Estate LLC is planning on changing this with a large multifamily development they plan to start building this year.
Plenty of Space
The newly commissioned multifamily complex will be situated on a large property that encompasses 21.3 acres in the city. SWBC has named the development, The Remington at Rockwall Downes. The first phase will include 295 family units.
In total, SWBC plans on their new venture to include 42.6 acres over the course of two years. It is estimated that this two-phase project will be complete in the next 20 months. In the end, this development will provide a grand total of 590 units, with 295 in each phase. Building for the first phase is set to begin in May, 2018.
Great Amenities
The Remington is slated to provide tenants with high quality finishes and great amenities. Each unit will feature high ceilings, hardwood-style floors, stainless steel appliances, and even granite countertops. Modern bathrooms and functional kitchens will help fill vacancies. Renters who want top notch amenities are sure to appreciate this attention to detail.
Renters can choose between one, two or three-bedroom floor plans, with each option averaging a little over 1000 square feet of living space. The goal is to create a tight knit community for all the tenants.
Perfect for Families
The location for the Remington was chosen because of the family-oriented community that can be found in Rockwall. This new multifamily development is sure to attract families of all sizes to the area. Its close proximity to Interstate 30 will make it simple for residents to travel to Dallas for work or recreation.
Future Plans
SWBC doesn’t plan on stopping with the Remington. The real estate company is also building multifamily units in McKinney and Kingwood. Each of these properties will contain 271 and 331 units, respectively. The McKinney property is a short drive to Dallas, while Kingwood is located just outside Houston. Being close to major cities will increase the desirability of these developments.
SWBC is playing the real estate game correctly. Dallas is currently oversaturated with existing and older multifamily developments, and the Remington in Rockwall is sure to draw in tenants who are looking for a new property that offers a full range of amenities and a close community feel.
