Project Goals

This large industrial facility in Sacramento was getting multiple new commercial tenants and the property managers wanted to be able to split up the electric utility for each new tenant.   The metering system they requested had to be able to monitor multiple meter points and collect data and timestamp data in one hour increments so that billing could be calculated based time of use tiered rates charged by the utility.   The client also requested that Submeter Solutions provides a monthly report of electrical usage per tenant per usage category.

Result

Submeter Solutions provided multiple Dent PowerScout electric meters for all meter points.   All Powerscout meters were connected via Modbus communications to multiple Obvius Acquisuites throughout the building.   AcquiSuite’s communicate meter data to Submeter Solution’s Servers.   Customized software was created for this client’s monthly billing services to calculate usage per tenant per time of use category.   Additional meter points continue to be added to the property has more tenant space is leased.
